Pippa meets her best friends when she comes to Madrina. We became best friends at school, too. Since then, we've studied Folklore and Law, visited the best tattoo parlor in Dublin, and systematically determined that Fortnum & Mason is both the best and the most ridiculous grocery store on Earth. We've also lived in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, London, and Zurich (although never at the same times). Although we're often thousands of miles apart, writing about Madrina has ensured that we stay in constant contact - more than once one of us has woken up in the morning to find a whole new chapter (or even a whole new plotline!) in her inbox.
